English Ambassadors – Reading Buddy Programme

Welcome to our Reading Buddies programme where the power of peer learning shines!

Our dedicated P5 and P6 English Ambassadors step into the rewarding roles of mentors and ‘big sisters,’ offering P1 students a friendly and relatable source of knowledge.

Through collaborative one-on-one sessions these older students patiently assist with phonics and reading skills planting the seeds for both literacy confidence and a wonderful sense of community across year groups.

This initiative beautifully highlights how leadership and collaboration can ignite a shared love for English.
